STEAK IN MUSHROOM SAUCE 
2-2 1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. oil or shortening
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. instant onion or 1 sm. onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Brown meat on both sides in hot oil in large fry pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours until meat is tender. Meat may be cooked whole or cut into serving pieces.

This recipe is also excellent, if you brown the meat, then transfer it, along with all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook all day on low.......this makes an excellent gravy and is wonderful served with mashed potatoes on the side....YUM!!!
