CHICKEN SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
2 tbsp. olive oil 1 lg. onion, diced 3 sm. cloves garlic, crushed 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, chopped 2 (16 oz.) cans Hunts Italian Style Tomato Sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms 1/4 c. each of green, red and yellow bell pepper, diced 2 stalks celery, diced 1 tbsp. dried oregano leaves 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tbsp. black pepper In a large deep skillet over medium heat add olive oil. Place onion and garlic in skillet and brown. Add chicken pieces and cook for 10 minutes or until done. Add tomato sauce, paste and mushrooms to skillet mixture and mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Bring sauce to a boil then simmer for one hour. Serve over cooked spaghetti. |
