FIX AHEAD HAMBURGER AND CHEESE
BUNS
 
1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Chopped onion
2 tbsp. catsup
Cheese topping (recipe below)
4 hamburger buns, split and lightly buttered

Combine ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and catsup; form into 4 patties. Place on the rack of broiler pan; broil 4 inches from heat until done to your liking. Let cool. Place each patty on a bun half; top with about 1/4 of the cheese topping and remaining bun half. Wrap tightly in foil. Refrigerate (may be overnight).

To heat, place in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes until meat is heated through. Makes 4.

CHEESE TOPPING:

Combine: 2 tbsp. soft butter 1 1/2 tsp. catsup 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
