SCALLOPED SWEETS AND APPLES 
8 med. size sweet potatoes, cooked
4 med. size apples, cored and cut in rings
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace
2 tbsp. butter

Peel sweet potatoes and cut in half lengthwise in slices about 1/2 inch thick. Arrange layers of potato slices, apples, brown sugar and seasoning in 2 quart casserole. Dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until apples are very tender. 6 servings.
