CRANBERRY - NUT BREAD | |
2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. grated orange peel 1 well-beaten egg 1 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped 1/2 c. chopped nuts Sift together dry ingredients, cut in butter. Combine peel, juice and egg; add to dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes in a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. When cool, wrap and store overnight. |
