CRANBERRY FRUIT NUT BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. cranberries, cut in half
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. melted butter

Blend first 5 ingredients in bowl. Mix in cranberries and nuts. Combine egg, orange peel, orange juice and butter; blend well. Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add liquids. Mix all together, enough to moisten dry ingredients.

Turn batter into greased bottom, 9 1/2 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the loaf. Cool for 10 minutes.
