CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 eggs
2 c. Grapenuts flakes
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nutmeats

Mix flour with baking soda, salt and spices. Beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Mix in milk and eggs. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in cereal, chips and nuts.

Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 350 to 375 degrees until lightly browned. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
