SWEET & SOUR PORK 
2-2 1/2 cut up pork
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown or white sugar
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 lg. can pineapple tidbits or chunks
Tomato pieces
Green pepper slices
Pepper & garlic salt to taste

1. Brown pork in frying pan (season with pepper and garlic salt). Discard grease if any.

2. Reduce heat to a simmer 220 degrees.

3. Add vinegar and drained juice from pineapple.

4. Simmer for 1/2 hour.

5. Add 1/3 cup soy sauce and 1/4 cup sugar.

6. Simmer another 1/2 hour.

7. Thicken with mixture of cornstarch and water.

8. Just before serving add pineapple. Cut up tomato and green pepper slices.

9. May also add other ingredients such as pea pods, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots.

10. Serve over a bed of rice.
