BANANA SOUR CREAM LOAF 
1 c. butter (2/3)
2 c. sugar (1 1/3)
3 eggs (2)
2 1/4 c. mashed bananas (1 1/2)
4 1/8 c. sifted flour (2 3/4)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (1)
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda (1)
3/4 tsp. salt (1/2)
3/4 c. sour cream (1/2)
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (1)

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and bananas. Beat until well blended. Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture, stirring to blend. Stir in walnuts. Spoon batter into 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan which has been greased (bottom only).

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Let stand on rack 20 minutes. Remove from pan to cool completely. Wrap in foil or plastic wrap to store.
