BANANA SOUR CREAM LOAF 
2/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. smashed banana
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and bananas and beat until well blended. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture, stirring just to blend. Stir in walnuts. Spoon batter into a 9 x 5 x 2 3/4 inch loaf pan which has been greased and floured on the bottom only. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Let stand in pan on rack 20 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly. Wrap in foil or plastic wrap.
