Dough:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips

Beat butter, egg and water. Stir in next three ingredients. Press into 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Take out. Sprinkle chocolate chips on dough, return to oven for 1 minute. Spread the melted chocolate.

Topping:

2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped nuts

Beat eggs until thick. Add sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Spread on top of chocolate layer. Sprinkle chopped nuts. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
