PICANTE SAUCE 
4 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2-3 chopped jalapeno peppers
1 tbsp. chopped green chilies
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar (cider)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. coriander

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25 minutes. Yields 3 cups.

If you want it hotter, add more jalapeno peppers!!!

To can: Hot bath for 35 to 40 minutes.
