DANISH PUFF 
BASE:

1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. water

(I double these ingredients.)

Place flour in bowl. Cut in butter; sprinkle with water. Mix; roll in ball. Divide in two. Put into long strips on cookie sheet.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Bring water and butter to rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add flour. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until smooth after each egg. Add flavoring. Divide. Smooth over base strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes until brown and crisp.

ICING:

3 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Crushed walnuts

Heat milk and butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat. Wait 15-20 minutes. Spread over top. Sprinkle with walnuts.
