CREAMED CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 qts. bite-size pieces of cabbage
1 chopped green pepper
2 to 4 sliced carrots
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. med. white sauce
1 c. Cheddar cheese

Cook vegetables in small amount of water for 7 minutes (drain). Add cheese to white sauce and melt. Mix all together. Put in greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes to heat thoroughly.

WHITE SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk

Melt butter, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook over low heat (stirring constantly).
