GRANNIE'S MASHED POTATOES 
10 pounds red potatoes
2 cups butter
2/3 cup 2% milk
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. black pepper (optional)
3 tbsp. dried basil (optional)
2 tbsp. dried oregano (optional)
2 tsp. garlic powder or garlic salt (optional)
5 tbsp. bacon bits (optional)

Boil a Gallon of water (do not salt). Dice potatoes into medium sized cubes. Drop diced potatoes into the pot, and boil for 35 minutes to 1 hour or until potatoes are fork tender. Drain potatoes. Transfer potatoes to a large bowl. Add all remaining ingredients to the bowl.

Blend with mixer on high until light and fluffy. Serve.

Makes at least 8 servings.
