BAR-B-QUE BEEF BRISKET | |
1 4/5 lb. brisket, boned and trimmed Celery salt Onion salt Garlic salt Worcestershire sauce Liquid Smoke 1 bottle Heinz Hickory Smoke Bar-B-Que Sauce 1 sm. bottle catsup 1-2 tbsp. brown sugar Sprinkle both sides of meat with the 3 salts. Brush liberally with liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce. Wrap in heavy duty foil and bake at 250 degrees for 6-8 hours. Remove brisket from liquid and slice against the grain. Refrigerate if not serving until later. Otherwise mix and heat Heinz Sauce, catsup and brown sugar. Pour over sliced brisket. Note: I use small dinner rolls as sandwiches. |
