CINNAMON CAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix 1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding 3/4 c. water 3/4 c. oil 1 tsp. butter extract 1 tsp. vanilla extract 4 eggs 3/4 c. chopped nuts 1/4 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon Mix nuts, sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Combine cake mix and pudding mix, add water and mix. Add next 4 ingredients and beat well. Pour half of batter into a 10-inch greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle half of the nut mixture over the cake batter. Pour the remaining cake batter over the nuts, then add the remaining nut mixture on top. Bake 45 to 50 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Remove from oven; let stand in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan after 15 minutes and allow cake to cool before glazing, using recipe below. CINNAMON CAKE GLAZE: 1 c. confectioners' sugar 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. butter extract Mix well and drizzle over top and sides of cake. |
