OATMEAL BREAD 
1 c. oatmeal
4 tbsp. molasses
2 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
6 c. all-purpose flour

Mix together oatmeal, molasses, oil and salt; cover with the boiling water. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast, 1/2 cup warm water and sugar; add about 6 cups flour. Knead 8 to 10 minutes. Let rise until double. Punch down and put into greased loaf pans. When double, bake at 375°F 40 to 50 minutes. Coat top of bread with butter after it comes from the oven for softer crust.
