FRENCH COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 c. sour cream

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with 1 cup sour cream with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda dissolve in it. Put 1/2 batter into tube pan and sprinkle with 1/2 of filling. Cover with remaining batter and sprinkle remaining filling on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. ground nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

You CANNOT eat this the same day - it MUST sit for 24 hours.
