HOT LETTUCE DRESSING 
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. water
2 to 3 slices bacon

Fry bacon to desired crispness. Drain and crumble. Beat eggs and sugar. Add vinegar and water to egg and sugar. Add mix to bacon and bring to a boil; let cool for 5 minutes and then pour over broken lettuce or lettuce wedges. Serve immediately.
