AUTUMN BREAKFAST CAKE 
1/3 c. Crisco or butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend Crisco, sugar and egg until fluffy. Stir in milk, alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan that has been greased with Crisco.

Sprinkle with topping of 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon Crisco which have been mixed together. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
