DIVINITY CANDY 
2 egg whites
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
Flavoring
2 1/4 c. sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff. Cook syrup, water, and sugar until reaches hard ball stage. Pour half of this into beaten egg whites; let cook about 30 seconds more, then add remainder of the egg whites and beat until it will not drip at all off beaters. Add flavoring. Pour over into buttered dish to let cool.
