DIVINITY CANDY 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. hot water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Cook sugar, syrup, salt, and water to hard ball stage. Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites, beating continuously. Beat until it holds its shape. Add chopped nuts. Pour on buttered pan. Cool and cut in squares.
