CEREAL PEANUT BARS 
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. brown sugar
Dash of salt
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 c.)

Combine syrup, sugar and salt in saucepan; bring to a full boil. Stir in peanut butter. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, cereals and chocolate pieces. Press into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Chill 1 hour. Cut in small bars or squares. (For easy serving, store in refrigerator.) Makes about 2 dozen pieces.
