OKRA PILAU 
1/2 lb. bacon
2 med. onion
2 c. okra, chopped
2 c. rice, cooked

Fry bacon; drain. Crumble and set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup bacon drippings. Fry okra and onions in reserved drippings over medium heat until brown, but not too dry. Add rice and crumbled bacon. Cook together until thoroughly heated. May also add ham.
