1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter
1 2/3 c. sugar

Cream well.

5 eggs, one at a time
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon

Grease and flour cake pan. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Take out as soon as it leaves side of pan. Good Luck!
