GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
1 lb. bacon, fried 6 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced 4 med. onions, chopped 1/2 stick butter 1/2 c. vinegar (White or red wine) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper Combine fried, crumbled bacon, potatoes, onions, butter, vinegar, salt and pepper in large skillet or crock pot. Cook slowly until potatoes are done (watch for sticking). Stir very carefully so as not to break up the vegetables. You may add some parsley and/or canned pimiento pepper, chopped. Serve hot. |
