CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 jar preserves, apricot or strawberry

Cream cheese and butter until well mixed. Work in flour. Wrap in foil. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Roll out thick or thin on a floured board. Cut in pieces (3 x 3 inch squares). Fill in center of pastry with a teaspoon of preserves and fold at opposite corners to middle. Grease cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Good for diabetics.
