CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 sm. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. nut meats or cherries
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and cheese. Add flour, nuts and flavoring. Make into 2 rolls; chill overnight. Cut into 1/2 inch thick slices, or make into small balls and press down on cookie sheet with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown.
