WELSH RAREBIT | |
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated 2 tbsp. butter Hot buttered toast 2 tbsp. milk (or bitter ale, optional) 1 tsp. made mustard Seasoning to taste Heat the butter in a saucepan. Add the milk (or ale), mustard, cheese and seasoning. Stir until the cheese has melted. Pour onto hot buttered toast and serve quickly. If desired, it can be browned under the broiler. |
