SWEET RICE 
1 c. rice (not instant)
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
10 to 12 oz. evaporated milk
Cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Rinse rice thoroughly before cooking it. Boil the rice in 5 cups of water, cook slowly, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. When the rice is cooked (almost all of the water is boiled away), add raisins, sugar, and vanilla. Stir well. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
