MACARONI, CHEESE AND GROUND BEEF 
1/4 to 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese
2 boxes Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. or 2 med. onions, chopped
1 sm. clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Cook and drain macaroni and prepare according to box directions and add 1/4 cup to 1/3 extra milk.

In separate skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.

Put in a casserole dish and top with shredded cheese. COVER and bake for 20 minutes at 325 degrees, until cheese bubbles.

This was really good. I did have to improvise a little bit. I had no milk so I used 1/2 can of evaporadted milk and we added 1 1/2 cups of mixed monterey and cheddar cheese. And then we covered it in garlic bread crumbs. Everyone loved it!

Good, fast dinner to prepare for a weeknight meal. Added 8 oz sour cream, and a good shake of crushed red pepper flakes, this boosted flavor out of the one-note flavor and added a little depth.
