GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda (baking)

Mix together. 1/4 c. molasses 1 egg, beaten

Mix first 7 ingredients together. Add Crisco, molasses and egg. Roll into 1/2 inch balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees on a greased cookie sheet, 8-10 minutes.
