SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
4 c. cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Carnation milk
3 beaten eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. Karo syrup
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix ingredients well. Bake in a 13x9 buttered baking dish for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Topping: Melt butter. Add brown sugar and syrup. Stir to dissolve. Add pecans. Spread over hot casserole. Return to oven. Bake until it bubbles, then remove from oven.
