TERIYAKI STEAK SAUCE 
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. soy sauce

Mix all ingredients in a shallow dish. (Large enough to hold the steak.) Don't add salt!

Put in steak, turn to coat well and let stand an hour or longer, turning once or twice. Drain, broil to the degree of doneness desired.
