1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. oatmeal

Cream Crisco and sugars; beat in egg and add flour, soda, baking powder and then last ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees. I often double the recipe as the whole family likes them. They are "yum-yum" for some!
