FRESH VEGETABLE MARINATE 
1 bunch broccoli, chopped
8 lg. mushrooms, sliced
1 head cauliflower, chopped
1 green pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 sm. yellow squash, sliced

MARINADE:

1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. poppy seed

Combine above ingredients. Heat until sugar is dissolved and let cool. Pour over vegetables and chill at least 3 hours or overnight. 10-12 servings.
