CHRISTMAS PUNCH 
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 c. bottled cranberry juice
1 1/2 c. lemon juice
2 c. orange juice
2 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
Block or ice or Della Robbia Ice ring
2 bottles (28 oz. each) ginger ale

Combine sugar and water in small sauce pan. Bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. cover and boil over low heat without stirring for about five minutes. Combine the sugar syrup (while warm) and all the fruit juices. Chill thoroughly. Just before serving time, put block of ice or ice ring in a punch bowl. Pour in fruit juice mixture. Ladle punch over the ice until well chilled. Pour in the ginger ale just before serving. Makes 24 to 30 punch cup servings.
