CHEESE PUFFS | |
1 egg white 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. grated medium or sharp cheese 18 buttered bread rounds Beat egg white with cream of tartar and salt until light and frothy. Stir in cheese and mix lightly. Mound mixture on bread rounds. Place on baking sheet. Broil about 4 inches from burner for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 18 puffs. |
