SWEET-SOUR GREEN BEANS 
1 lb. green beans, drained
2 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c. green bean liquid
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar

Cook diced bacon until lightly golden brown. Set to side of pan, add the chopped onions and saute for several minutes. Add bean liquid, salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar. Cook about five (5) minutes. Add the drained green beans. Serve hot with any meat course. Serves 4.
