SWEET/SOUR GREEN BEANS 
6 strips bacon
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. vinegar
1 (#3) can green beans

Cut bacon in small pieces and cook until crisp. Remove bacon and to drippings add sugar and cornstarch and blend. Stir in salt and pepper and vinegar. Cook until thickened and pour over drained green beans. Top with bacon.
