BREAD PUDDING SAUCE

2 c. water
1 stick butter
3 tsp. rum extract
1 c. sugar

Boil slow for 45 minutes. It will not thick, so add:

1 tbsp. cornstarch (mix with a little water until dissolved)

Pour over bread pudding.
