CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 frying size chicken, cut up
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. rice, regular or instant
1 med. onion, sliced
6 oz. water

Grease large baking dish. Add rice, salt and pepper chicken and place in single layer over rice. Place sliced onion on chicken. Pour mushroom soup over chicken. Add water and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours or a bit less.
