VEGGIE LOVER'S HOT SPAGHETTI
SAUCE
 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. Pace Picante
1 lg. carrot shredded
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. basil
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
2 c. sm. broccoli florets

Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in oil in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, Pace Picante sauce, carrot, Italian seasoning and basil. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in veggies. Continue to simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon over pasta.
