KOREAN BEEF 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. flank steak
1/4 c. sesame seed
1/4 c. Crisco oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. dry sherry (can use cooking sherry)
1 sm. onion, sliced
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Place steak in marinade, turning to coat both sides. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Broil 6 inches from heat, 5 minutes first side and 3 minutes second side. To serve slice thin across grain of meat.
