SPANISH STEAK 
2 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 2 inches thick

Chop 1 tablespoon flour in each side. Heat the frying pan very hot, put in a tablespoon of butter, lay the steak in, fry brown on both sides, then spread over the steak:

1 pt. tomatoes
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
1 green pepper or a little pepper sauce
Salt

Put cover on and let cook slowly 2 hours. Enough for a family of six.
