1/2 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and last add 1 cup boiling water. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a 9 x 12 inch pan.
