3/4 c. shortening
2 c. hot applesauce
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. boiling water
2 tbsp. cocoa mix with water
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 egg
1 c. walnuts
1 lb. raisins

Bake in 9x12 inch or 10x14 inch pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
