SEAFOOD CASSEROLE | |
2 slices white bread 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. onion 1 stick butter 2 cans crabmeat (1 lb.) 1 lb. fresh or frozen shrimp (salad size) 1 can water chestnuts 1 egg 1/2 lb. sharp cheese dash of Tabasco 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. potato chips, crushed Break up the bread and soak in the water. Sauté celery, pepper and onion. Mix all remaining ingredients (except potato chips) with the celery, pepper and onion. Place in buttered casserole. Cover with crushed chips and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. |
