FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans (coarsely chopped)
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. fruit cocktail
3/4 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients except brown sugar and pecans; mix well. Pour into 9 x 12 x 2 greased pan. Sprinkle with sugar and pecans. Bake for 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. evaporated milk
1 can coconut

Combine all ingredients (except coconut), boil for 2 minutes. Take off stove and add coconut and then add to warm cake (pour over cake).
